ECOMMERCE ASSOCIATE

Are you passionate about online shopping experiences, creative content, and digital innovation? We’re looking for an Ecommerce Associate to help bring our products to life online and deliver a seamless, engaging experience for our customers. In this role, you’ll manage product listings, optimize website content, create eye-catching visuals, and support ongoing improvements to our online store. If you’re a detail-oriented problem-solver with a flair for design and a love for eCommerce platforms like Shopify, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Website Management & Product Listings

  • Maintain and enhance website navigation and user experience.
  • Upload and update product listings, including pricing and inventory changes.
  • Organize and manage product categories and collections.
  • Source and onboard new products as needed.

Content Creation & SEO

  • Write and optimize product descriptions and templates for SEO.
  • Review and rewrite existing descriptions to improve search performance.
  • Set up and maintain web content, including articles, educational materials, and promotional content.
  • Visuals & Branding Edit and prepare product images and promotional assets for web. 
  • Design visually appealing graphics, artwork, and layouts in line with brand guidelines.
  • Create website banners, marketing collaterals, and promotional visuals.

Innovation & Analysis

  • Research and recommend new tools, features, and apps to improve website functionality and conversions.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze performance of website content and campaigns.
  • Contribute to eCommerce platform enhancements and assist with UX improvements.

Team Support

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver projects and meet timelines.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as needed. 

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for accuracy and consistency, especially when handling product listings, pricing, and visuals.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: You think from the customer’s perspective to optimise the online shopping experience.
  • Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new tools, platforms, and apps that can enhance workflow and site functionality.
  • Team Player: You collaborate well with others but are also capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive and Resourceful: You take initiative, troubleshoot issues, and seek ways to improve processes without always needing direction and implement practical solutions.
  • Creative Thinker: You bring fresh ideas to improve product presentation, website design, and customer engagement.
  • Strong communicator: You have the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
  • Relevant experience: Experience working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is highly preferred. Experience in Adobe suite of desktop publishing software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office

RETAIL ADVISOR (PART-TIME WEEKENDS)

Responsible for providing Elly's great service to our customers in The Elly Store (Flagship) or Stockists, as well as supporting the overall store operations.

Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Provide excellent service to customers (both parents and children alike!)
  • Build customer loyalty by being proactive, making recommendations to customers' needs and following-up with customer requests
  • Maintain ownership of selling floor by keeping the store clean and tidy, wiping shelves, placing and/or hanging back items as you work, replenishing merchandise after selling
  • Keeping stock organised
  • Ordering and processing new stock
  • Maintaining merchandise display
  • Handle packing / wrapping
  • Handle daily cashiering duties

KPIs include:

  • Customer satisfaction
  • Achievement of daily and monthly sales targets
  • Smooth overall store maintenance and operation

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level
  • Must have initiative and be enthusiastic, patient and courteous
  • Minimum commitment: Two days a week, of which one day must be a weekend. Must work on public holidays. 
  • Working hours for Sundays: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. / Monday to Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Weekend pay: S$12/ h

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

Responsible for creating prints for our clothing or accessories or any new product we develop. Also responsible for re-designing product pages and collection pages.

Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assisting to develop print concepts for each kidswear clothing collection or accessories (including working with license artwork and adhering to strict rules);
  • Assisting with packaging design to match any new collection or product;
  • Designing any graphics for collaterals relating to the collection, where required;
  • Assisting to develop prints for new product lines;
  • Preparing print notes for production;
  • Creating posters and collateral for retail stores;
  • Assisting with packaging design to match any new collection or product launch;
  • Designing any graphics, layouts of brand pages, products and collection pages, and execution of any backend edits with a view to creating a new website experience;
  • Do regular market research on print trends in the international market; and
  • Generally assisting on work relating to prints where necessary.

Skills and experience:

  • Able to draw and prepare product submissions and any submission relating to print production.
  • Studied or Studying Fashion Design or Graphics Design or with relevant job experience.
  • Candidates should have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator;
  • Keen interest in, and have an eye for designing prints.
  • Be able to manage workload and time independently.
  • Takes initiative to come up with ideas and solutions; and
  • Able to understand the brand concept and come up with ideas which reflect the brand personality.
  • Minimum 10-week commitment.

FASHION DESIGN INTERN

Ideal for a fashion student in Singapore looking to gain firsthand experience in designing children's apparel for a growing SME.

Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assist Fashion Designers in everyday tasks and be involved in full manufacturing process from design development (conception) to completion and preparing the collection for store display.
  • Develop new overall design concepts.
  • Do regular market research on trends in the international market.
  • Prepare CADs and specs for manufacturing.
  • Follow-up with manufacturers in the production process.
  • When collections are ready, assist with setting up popups (of new collections) in department stores and our own flagship retail store.

Skills and experience:

  • Able to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to draw CADs
  • Studying Fashion Design or Graphic Design in school
  • Have an eye for prints and cutting
  • Be able to manage workload and time independently
  • Able to understand the brand concept and come up with fashion styles which reflect the brand personality.
  • Minimum 10-week commitment.
